C.L.A.S. Experience

In 2019, C.L.A.S Experience began as a classical jazz quartet performing contemporary jazz music. With growing own compositions, the combo, consisting of Cédric Bovet (saxophone), Lucien Bovet (drums), Arno Knorr (bass) and Sylvain Gubian (piano), began to develop its own musical signature.
The compositions are characterized by everyday experiences that translate into musical images. Surprising harmonic turns, sometimes at the limit of classic functional harmonics, themes that sometimes float slightly above a hard-pulsed rhythm group or driving the combo. Across structural concepts, the musicians' collective celebrates free spaces for expression and interaction.
With themes like “Ups and downs“, “On the move“, “No Panic, just a half tone away:-)“ und “Senza Più“ (real life) the combo invites for a journey together.

2019 begann C.L.A.S Experience als ein klassisches Jazz Quartett zeitgenössische Jazzmusik zu interpretieren. Mit zunehmend eigenen Kompositionen begann die Combo, bestehend aus Cedric Bovet (sax), Lucien Bovet (drums), Arno Knorr (bass) und Sylvain Gubian (piano) ihre eigene musikalische Signatur zu entwickeln.
Ihre Kompositionen sind geprägt von alltäglichen Erfahrungen die in musikalische Bilder umgesetzt werden. Überraschende harmonische Wendungen, zum Teil im Grenzbereich klassischer Funktionsharmonik, Themen die mal leicht über einer hart pulsierenden Rythmusgruppe schweben, oder die Combo antreiben. Über allen strukturellen Konzeptionen zelebriert das Musikerkollektiv freie Räume der Ausdrucksmöglichkeit und der Interaktion.
Mit Themen wie “Ups and downs“, “On the move“, “No Panic, just a half tone away:-)“ und “Senza Più“ (das wahre Leben) lädt die Combo auf eine gemeinsame Reise ein.
