KNOBIL
KNOBIL is a French-language, post-bop, glittering jazz project created by Louise Knobil, a double bass player, singer and composer from Lausanne. Influenced by Esperanza Spalding, Charles Mingus and Boris Vian, she uses her double bass and her voice to share with you her musical diary, talking about polyamory, sleep deprivation and pesto recipes.
The artist performs her compositions solo or accompanied by her knodisciples: Chloé Marsigny (bass clarinet) and Vincent Andreae (drums).

KNOBIL ist ein französischsprachiges Chanson-Projekt mit Post-Bop und Glitzer-Jazz, das von der Kontrabassistin, Sängerin und Komponistin Louise Knobil aus Lausanne ins Leben gerufen wurde. In Knobisous, Louise recounts her various adventures and anecdotes through six original compositions, the main subjects of which are polyamory, break-ups, laundry, queer coming-out and systemic patriarchy.
