How can we face a world that is in multiple crises? How can we lead a meaningful life in the midst of countless unanswered questions? How can we orient ourselves when familiar structures dissolve?

Since 2021 pianist Verena Zeiner and drummer Ziv Ravitz play together as a duo. Their first album The Sweetness of Finitude was released 2022.
For the new album Radical Care the duo's sound palette has been expanded to include guitar, bass, and a string section. The pieces on this album play with the combination of contemporary chamber music compositions and improvisation.
Verena Zeiner and Ziv Ravitz met in NYC, when they both lived in the city. Their first collaboration took place on Zeiner’s solo album No Love without Justice (2020), which was mixed and mastered by Ziv Ravitz.
Zeiner is a pianist with a unique and captivating voice, blending improvised music with elements of chamber music and jazz. Ravitz is an exceptionally distinctive drummer as well as composer and a most sought-after musician in modern jazz.

The individual elements - Verena Zeiner's incredibly multifaceted playing and Ziv Ravitz's varied rhythm work - mesh together in a truly wonderful way. Zeiner ist eine Pianistin mit einer sehr individuellen Stimme, die improvisierte Musik mit Elementen der Kammermusik und des Jazz verbindet. Ravitz ein unverwechselbar ausdrucksstarker Schlagzeuger sowie Komponist und gefragter Akteur des Modern Jazz.
